My two boys and I recently embarked on their first-ever fishing charter with Captain Randy and his first mate, his daughter Laci, and it was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, the trip was a perfect blend of excitement, learning, and family fun. Captain Randy is a seasoned pro whose passion for fishing and deep knowledge of the waters shone through. He was patient and engaging, making sure my boys (ages 10 and 11) felt comfortable and excited. He took the time to explain the basics of fishing, from baiting hooks to spotting the best fishing spots, which was perfect for first-timers. Laci is an absolute gem. Her energy and enthusiasm were contagious, and she connected so well with my boys. She helped them reel in their first catches, cheering them on with genuine excitement that made their day. Her skill on the boat was impressive, handling everything from setting up gear to untangling lines with a smile. It was heartwarming to see the father-daughter duo work so seamlessly together, creating a welcoming and fun atmosphere. The highlight for my boys was reeling in some fish and a baby shark (!!) that had them grinning ear to ear. The boat is clean, well-equipped, and felt safe, which is reassuring as a mom. All in, this was a fantastic introduction to fishing for my boys, and they’re already begging to go back. If you’re looking for a fishing charter that’s perfect for families or first-timers, I can’t recommend them enough! Five stars!

We had a fantastic trip with Capt Randy and Lacy. It was the first time fishing for my wife and daughter so we booked a rig/reef trip. The weather on our original day was not great, Captain Randy, knowing it was a first time out for my wife and daughter called and worked with us to move to a day with much better weather. They were very patient and helpful in teaching my daughter how to fish. She was a pro in short order. It was like fishing with family, unless you hate your family, then in that case it would be like fishing with someone else’s family that you really like. Wonderful folks, and wonderful memories. Captain Randy and Laci were great they made sure we had the best fishing experience. This is a great option if you have children wanting to go. The boat was the perfect size. We are already planning a trip for next year.

Capt Randy and first mate were great! Captain put us on the fish and the mate kept bait on our hooks. caught our limit of red snapper quickly.

Randy and his daughter made this an amazing experience for both me and my son! Super down to earth folks and they know what their doing! We went with his recommendations as to what kind of fish offered the most action and he did not disappoint, we were hooking fish left and right! He even cleaned and the filleted the fish we caught and we were able to take it home for dinner! The only thing I'd do differently next time is book the 4 hour trip instead of 2 because we had a blast! Captain Randy is legit and we're looking forward to going out on the water with him again!
